This course offers you a multidisciplinary, theoretical and practical introduction to some key concepts, processes, practices and debates associated with employment relationships. Discussion will focus around the relationship between employers and employees and how that often complex relationship is affected by national and international regulatory bodies, employer and labour representative organisations, and the economy, politics and society. This broader context then informs our discussion of employer and employee strategies and interactions at the workplace level. This course will assist you to understand and participate in industrial relations processes  in an informed and ethical manner.
