The course introduces to students how to build a sense of seeing and perceiving with a purpose of learning and later communicate in a visual way through drawing. It opens the students’ mind about rendering of shapes of (2D) and (3D) drawing. It introduces students to the elements and principles of human figure drawing.
Course Learning Objectives.
The objectives of the programme include:
- To acquire purposeful anatomical knowledge about man and his environment
- To enable students understand drawing and get to know its importance to several disciplines of art and design
- To enable students acquire skills in seeing with purpose of making good human figure drawing.
- To train students appreciate the elements and principles of human figure drawing in organisation, design and composition.

Upon successful completion of this course learners will be able:
