The course aims at equipping students with advanced graphic designing skills, allowing them to create more complex communicative symbols, images, designs and insignia.
The course aims at equipping students’ with skill of project development in graphics and exhibiting skills. This unit will enable learners to identify their own potations and create individual projects in graphics designing which range from serigraphy, graffiti, wall graphic writing, 3D letter creation etc.

By the end of the course unit, students should be able:-
- To develop projects in graphics designing which range from serigraphy, graffiti, wall graphic writing, 3D letter creation etc.
- To help each other and develop a sense of interdependence.
- To train students to produce advanced project works in graphics.
Course Learning Outcomes.
Upon completion of this course, a student will be expected to;
- Produce different types of graphics art projects with apparent relationship either to the child art or adult professionalism.
- Create graphic projects centred on designing ranging from glass staining, graffiti, wall graphic writing, 3D letter creation.
- Develop different graphic projects both individual and different groups.
Brief Course Description.
The course aims at giving students the skill of editing images or photos and the still camera techniques and computer graphics skills. It will use design software like Corel Photo-painter and adobe Photoshop etc. It will also focus on intermediate design settings in the various design programmes, text creation, drawing tools, control mechanisms, document creation, folders and retrieval. The student’s responsiveness will largely dwell on articulating image and type in the various programmes in the real life situation.
Course Learning Objectives.
The objectives of this course unit include:
To create design files in the Photoshop and presented as soft copies
To operate the various programmes as imparted to them during and after the semester.
Saving work in the various modes available and be able to present it in the appropriate programmes.

2. You are expected to have more advanced computing skills before they are enrolled in this rather largely hands on sessions.
3. You will be using illustrator.
4. It will focus on document settings in the various design styles, text creation, drawing tools, control mechanisms, document creation, folders and retrieval.
